Password reset not taking effect on PC login

After a password is changed/reset, the 'Telework' Notebook, would not accept this new password for logging in, you have to still use your old password; however, the Cisco Any Connect was accepting the new password.


Please note, this is ONLY while teleworking, when you are in your office, this is a seamless task with nothing to do from the end-users login!


Here's the simple fix, per ITU Support Technical staff:


!. Open laptop with old password.

2. Connect to VPN with new password

3. Lock computer, (the Windows key and the 'L' key simultaneously)

4. Upon 'Unlocking' it, your new password is accepted.
