- Open Cisco AnyConnect VPN on your computer.
- If you do NOT have Cisco AnyConnect (Windows) installed go tohttps://its.gmu.edu/service/virtual-private-network-vpn/ and click on Related Downloads
- If you do NOT have Cisco AnyConnect (Windows) installed go tohttps://its.gmu.edu/service/virtual-private-network-vpn/ and click on Related Downloads
- If prompted for a VPN, enter vpn.gmu.edu/fmgt and then click Connect.
- Enter in the following information and then click OK:
Group: Select Auto-Select
Username: Your Mason NetID
Password: Your Mason PatriotPass password - Approve login using 2FA
- Smartphone/Tablet
- Your device will notify you of a Duo Mobile App request, or you'll need to open the App. (Note: Verify on your phone that notifications are turned on for the Duo Mobile App)
- You will be asked to approve or deny the authentication request.
- Tap approve on your device to complete the authentication request
- Mobile/Landline Phone
- Your mobile phone or landline phone will ring.
- Follow the phone prompts to authenticate.
- Smartphone/Tablet
- Once the VPN connection is established, the Cisco AnyConnect icon with a small lock will appear. Note: You may need to click the arrow to show hidden icons to see it.
- You will then be logged into Cisco AnyConnect VPN.
