This process can't be expedited or rushed.
Only Facilities employees can use this process.
Once the form has been completed, it takes time for all parties to approve the request electronically. Upon full approval, Mason Facilities HRR will process the form - the processes that create and grant access are automated. Each process takes time to complete. It usually takes 24-48 hours for the account to be created and access to be granted, but it can take 7-10 business days during peak periods.
Step 1 - Mason Sponsor Submits Mason Account for Contractor Click Here
The Mason Facilities Sponsor submits the online form click here. You'll need the contractor's name, company, email, access start date, Fund/Org, and access length.
Step 2 - Contractor Provides Additional Information
The contractor will be sent a link via email provider to collect additional information. If you are a new Dynamic Froms (NG Web Solutions) user, then you will need to create a new account. After you submit the additional information and e-Sign the request, the request will be routed to Mason Facilities HRR.
Step 3 - Facilities Human Resources and Recruiting Processing
An Electronic Personnel Action Form (EPAF) must be entered into Banner by Facilities HRR for the contractor needing access.
Step 4 - Gnumber (Mason ID Number) and Daily Activate Link
Once Facilities HRR submits the request, you will be sent Gnumber. Your account is NOT ready at this point as it still needs to be approved by Central HR, and then the automated processes need to time to run and create your account and provision your access. Please try your account daily. https://password.gmu.edu/auth/activate
Unfortunately, we don't receive any notifications when your account is ready and all of the automated steps have been completed.
